The Milo Wladek Co. makes films, creates theatre and explores the spaces in-between. Comprising a team of award-winning film and theatre makers, we are engineering techniques that allow audiences to experience and interact with stories in new and exciting ways.

Simon Ryninks is a filmmaker and theatre director. His short films The Elevator Pitch and Red Onions were finalists at Sundance London. He has directed for the BBC, been awarded the Ideastap Film Fund and was nominated for the IMdB New Filmmaker Award in 2014. Simon’s immersive theatre work has been commissioned by the Create Festival, Hackney Council and Somerset House. He’s directed for the Old Vic Community Company and has been shortlisted for the Oxford Samuel Beckett Award. 

Hiran Balasuriya is a British-born Sri Lankan living in New York. He has worked for numerous production companies including Kontent Films and Remedy Editorial in San Francisco, as well as BBC Films and Ponda Films in London. As an editor, he has worked on short films, music videos and documentaries, for Channel 4, the British Film Institute, Crux Films and Somebody Nobody Productions, among others. His directorial debut for The Milo Wladek Co., The Joyous Farmer, won the Best Short Film awards at both the Jaffna International Cinema Festival and the Agenda14 Short Film Festival in Sri Lanka.

Joe Brace has spent four years working in film marketing and PR and currently freelances in a development capacity for a number of sales agents and script reading agencies. He is currently writing his first film.

Dino Dimopoulos is a producer, director and editor who works in a broad range of mediums including fashion, fiction, documentary and music videos. Having produced online video content for The Sunday Times Online, Dino now regularly freelances in the same capacity for the British Film Institute, as well as directing fashion videos for Grazia and Anya Hindmarch. Other clients have included the BBC. He has worked on a number of award-winning short films as a Cinematographer. 

Sami El-Enany is a British Egyptian composer whose work traverses the dividing line between music and sound art. His collaborative practices range widely from film, fine art, theatre, and new media. Sami’s work has been performed around the world either by himself or members of the LSO, Royal Northern Sinfonia and Q-O2. He’s also the synth player in La Shark.

Zak Klein is a scriptwriter and director based in London. He holds a Scriptwriting MA from Goldsmiths University. Zak's three recent short films have screened at a total 25 festivals across Europe and America, have won four awards and been featured on Vimeo Staff Picks and Short of the Week on Hunger TV. Zak has just finished writing his first feature film, and is now working in production. 

The Unthank Aliance have directed music videos commissioned by some of the biggest labels in the UK and have been featured by PROMO NEWS, NME, GQ, XFM, BBC 6 and CLASH among others.
